Jackie Robinson

The book Jackie Robinson talks about the early life of young Jackie, to when he becomes a famous baseball player, to his final time as an elderly individual. Jackie having to endure the time of discrimination is having a hard time with sports; the white community at that time was very racist and didn’t allow colored people to participate in anything. He played many sports including football, basketball, baseball, and track running. After, he decided to focus on baseball. He was later recognized for his talent while playing at UCLA. He started playing pro baseball and finished with ten years of hard work and dedication for that sport. He retired and lived a happy and leisure life with his wife in a beautiful home and a great life.
